Bill LeBoeuf is a highly experienced financial advisor and portfolio manager with over 29 years of wealth management experience. At Compound Planning, Bill works with a small but influential group of investors, business owners, entrepreneurs, and family-office clients, providing customized financial solutions that underscore capital preservation and income. Bill’s client list includes many current and former business owners that have had significant liquidity events, attorneys that see the benefits of non-traditional investments such as private equity and direct lending, and clients that have a need to plan their wealth transfer to the next generation. With his extensive personal experience and client experience, Bill is constantly seeking tax savings and growth opportunities that are unique including tax-alpha investing, qualified small business stock tax benefit, and the depreciation benefits derived from direct real estate investing. Additionally, Bill has developed a strong list of clients that have engaged in divorce proceedings from high producing spouses that are seeking a mooring in their personal and financial maelstrom. Bill is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a BSBA in Business Administration, Finance, and was the President of the Nationally Ranked Arizona Wildcats Rugby Club. He’s also a Certified Plan Retirement Counselor, CRPC, an accreditation that spans corporate qualified plans, rollover IRAs, and Roth IRAs. In addition to his role with Compound Planning, Bill has a leadership role in a fintech startup serving the life and health insurance industry and has extensive experience in real estate finance and transactions. Bill also carries a life and health insurance license. Prior to the financial services industry, Bill worked for a defense contractor writing weapon system warranties for a consulting firm near Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Bill and his wife live in the Midwest where he anchors the Dayton, Ohio office, and in his spare time can be found playing golf and checking off top 100 golf venues with his friends. Bill has just completed putting four young men through college and won't be retiring any time soon. In addition to playing golf and putting his own children through school, Bill has served the Western Golf Association Evans Scholars Foundation as a Director for twenty-three years helping over forty qualifying and financially deserving student-caddies receive full housing and tuition, four year scholarships to Ohio State or Miami University from his club. Additionally, he serves on the Moraine Caddie Scholarship Fund Committee, has supported and continues to serve on the YMCA of Greater Dayton Board since 1995, and helped found the YMCA Early Childhood Education Board in 2015, on which he also serves, which, community wide, is serving 1,600 financially challenged children every week. Bill has been a member of Ye Buzfuz Club since 2001 and served as its Serjeant for twelve years. Lastly, Bill is a fan of sports, but has a particular fondness for Ohio State football, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Cincinnati Reds.
