NEW YORK – Compound Planning, a leading digital family office committed to reimagining wealth management for next generation advisors, today announced the addition of three seasoned executives to its leadership team.

  • Eric Flynn, CPA, CFA, has been hired as EVP, Head of Wealth Management.
  • Marc Primiani, JD, LL.M. has been brought on as General Counsel.

These strategic hires come as Compound Planning celebrates significant milestones, including surpassing $2 billion in assets under management (AUM) and expanding its team to over 30 financial advisors.

The firm’s rapid growth and innovative approach have also garnered industry recognition. Financial Advisor Magazine recently ranked Compound Planning as one of America’s Top RIAs and placed the firm at #2 on its list of the 50 Fastest Growing RIAs for 2024. This recognition underscores Compound Planning’s commitment to providing cutting-edge, client-centric wealth management solutions.

“Eric, Marc, and Brent bring invaluable experience and strategic insight to Compound Planning at a critical time in our growth journey,” said Christian Haigh, Co-founder and CEO of Compound Planning. “Their expertise and leadership further validates the value that our AI and tech-enabled platform brings to advisors and their clients. We are thrilled to have them onboard as we continue to build the operating system for 21st-century wealth management. The market is voting with its feet.”

Eric Flynn has over 23 years of wealth management experience. He was previously Director of Alliance Management at Wipfli, focusing on strategy, execution, and personnel alignment within wealth management. Before that, he served as a Principal and Senior Financial Advisor at Wipfli Financial Advisors, advising high-net-worth clients and providing family office services. At Compound Planning, Eric will lead the Wealth Management business, executing strategic vision, overseeing the advisory team, and enhancing service offerings to ensure an exceptional client experience.

Marc Primiani, an experienced attorney and wealth management founder, has joined Compound Planning as General Counsel. Prior to Compound Planning, he co-founded Aspiriant, a ~$15B AUM advisory firm, and holds an LL.M. in tax from NYU. With over 20 years of experience at Aspiriant, Marc will guide Compound Planning's legal strategy, leveraging his expertise to support the company's growth and success in wealth management.

In addition, Compound Planning has expanded its operations and client services to support its rapid growth. Brent Myers, with over 20 years of experience, has joined as Head of Advisory Operations. His background includes leadership roles at J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Goldman Sachs. At Compound Planning, Brent leads a team of eight Client Service Associates, six of whom were hired this year, to ensure a seamless experience for clients and advisors as the firm scales.

“It is clear to me that Christian and Alex are building something special and I had to be a part of it,” said Eric Flynn about joining Compound Planning. “When I first met the team, two things stood out to me: (1) the quality of the technology and how much it could have helped me during my family office days; and (2) the quality of the advisors and how much value they deliver to their clients.”

Compound Planning’s vision of revolutionizing the wealth management industry is rooted in its commitment to next-generation advisors. By equipping advisors with cutting-edge technology and creating an ecosystem that prioritizes client satisfaction, the firm is leading the charge in transforming how wealth management services are delivered.
